Lori Hanna

Lori Hanna is a graduate of Toronto’s Sutherland Chan School and a member in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario since 2001. She has been building her practice at Smiths Falls Family Chiropractic since 2001.

She is inspired everyday by the rewards of helping people achieve their best health. She is convinced that the root cause of someone’s symptoms is often not simply where the symptoms show up; but to look elsewhere. Lori believes that peoples’ varied histories, belief systems and experiences combine to make health issues unique to each person.Read More>>>

A true believer in ongoing learning, Lori has continued her education by joining study groups, and taking various courses including Active Isolated Stretching, NISA, and more recently has become a Myofascial Release (MFR) practitioner of the John Barnes Myofascial Release Approach. These courses have included Myofascial Release 1, 2, Myofascial Unwinding and The Fascial Pelvis. Due to the remarkable changes she has seen with her clients using the MFR approach, she has become an avid supporter and promoter of the technique and is currently working on becoming more advanced in this method.

A self-proclaimed foodie, with an enthusiasm and appreciation for all things rural and outdoors, in her free time you can find Lori with her son and her husband hanging out at the lake, swimming, paddle-boarding, improving her guitar, photography and mindfulness skills.

Achieving health and wellbeing is an on going passion of mine. My work with clients as they strive toward a similar goal has had a profound impact in this personal pursuit.

I have been a member of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario since 2004. Complimenting this chosen profession is a rich history of Classical Ballet training and years of Certified Pilates instruction. I acknowledge people and their efforts to achieve a healthy, well functioning body and work to support their goals through massage therapy.
