Smiths Falls Chiropractor :: Dr. Mark Czubak

Chiropractic Changed His Life

Chiropractic help came to Dr. Mark Czubak after a bad motorcycle accident in 1990. That event, and the skilled hands of a chiropractor, would change his life forever.

“ I was raised in Toronto, and completed an honours Bachelor of Science degree in Toxicology from the University of Toronto in 1988. Continuing my studies in health care I attained advanced certification in Japanese Shiatsu (sometimes called acupuncture without needles). Later I had opportunities to travel, so I went on a six month motorcycle tour of Australia. Sadly, when I returned to Canada, I had a bad fall from my motorbike which left me with a shoulder fracture and some nerve damage. I was truly unable to find a way to heal well and regain total health.”

The Incredible Natural Healing Power of the Body

“ At the time, I found a chiropractor who not only knew how to correct the damage to my physical body, but lifted up my hope. He showed me how incredibly powerful the body’s natural healing ability really was. Since that day, I have always known clearly that this message was something everyone should hear.”

Dr. Mark proudly earned his degree as a Doctor of Chiropractic in 1995 in Toronto, and maintains current membership in all relevant chiropractic professional associations.

At Smiths Falls Family Chiropractic

At Smiths Falls Family Chiropractic he is particularly excited by families embracing natural health care, and seeing patients make huge strides to change their lifestyles and regain control of their health. He believes that in health, what defines us is not what we do, but how well we adapt after something changes.

Over the last decade, Dr. Mark has taken a clinical research interest in the inter-relationship between the spine, posture, the jaw (TMJ) and the bite (occlusion). One focus has been in developing professional relationships with skilled dentists, and co-managing children and adults with complex jaw and bite problems. It is his goal to begin publishing his findings in the near future, so that more professionals may be aware that chiropractors and dentists, when working together, can actually help patients much more.

In the community of Smiths Falls

Over the last 15 years, Dr. Mark has made efforts to give back to our community in a number of ways; particularly as a long-time board member of the Montessori School, a Big Brother, SF hospital supporter, library supporter, and as an enthusiastic speaker on health care issues at local organizations.

At Home

Dr. Mark remains very grateful for his kind, devoted wife Heather and two very active boys, Matthew and Jacob. He has been fortunate to experience a number of miracles in his life and knows that when we all expect them, they are often granted to us.

“I thank you for taking the time to read about me, and welcome you to Smiths Falls Family Chiropractic. I look forward to helping your family achieve your greatest health.”
